Sailing Weekend September 2009

We set off from the Hamble on a pleasant Friday evening and moored in Cowes for the night at the xxx Marina. Dinner was booked at the xxxx Yacht Club, followed by a few drinks at the xxx.

On Saturday we sailed off Cowes during the morning, waiting for the tide to turn. We moored up the Beaulieu River and had a leisurely lunch.  

After lunch, the tide was running strongly west so we made our way to Yarmouth for the evening. It was lovely evening and we went to the xxxx for dinner and then back to the yachts to sing and chat.

After breakfast we made our way back along the Solent, having lunch  on board arriving back in the Hamble around 4pm.
