Sailing Weekend

We have Chartered 3 Yachts and  we will have 17 people out to enjoy the weekend.

The weekend starts from the Hamble sailing across to Cowes and dinner Friday evening  in the Island Yacht Club in Cowes. 

The plan unless the weather intervenes is as follows.

•  Depart midday to pick up the boats in the Hamble at around 4pm. We have chartered 3 boats 2 36ft Bavaria's and one 34ft Halberg Rassey.
• Sail to Cowes on the Friday evening. We have been booked into Cowes Yacht Haven as the "Sevenoaks Mini Flotilla".
• Dinner has been booked as usual at the Island Yacht Club for 8pm which is a short walk from the mooring.
• On Saturday low water is at 8 a.m. BST which means we should be able to sail    to Bembridge for lunch leaving at around 9.30.
• After lunch, high tide is at 3 pm so  we plan to sail again to Yarmouth with the tide helping us.  We have booked 3 berths in Yarmouth Harbour for Saturday night..
• Dinner on Saturday night will be in the Bugle Inn where we hope to have a room to ourselves.
• Sunday will an interesting sail with the tide back to the Hamble.  On Sunday we thought we'd let the non-skippers run the boats so that we expand our      experience base further
• The yachts have to be returned to the Hamble for around 4pm so we need to be back in Southampton Water before the tide turns.
